HARD CORE WOMBLES ARE BACK!

The plant life is starting to die back and we can now see what has become of our local laybys. We will be returning to our favourite one first on Thursday 5th September 9:00-11:00. This is the one on the A43 between Croughton and Brackley. This will be followed by the snack van layby, the little layby just before Evenley and a new zone, a "notorious" one near Syresham. Dates for these to be organised. Keep your eyee open for dates!

Sunday 18th not Saturday 17th

The advertised Saturday 17th will now be Sunday 18th at 3:00pm - 4:00pm as we have been asked to help at the end of the Classic Car event which is on Sunday. So we'll be making sure the town park, High Street and Piazza are litter free.

SUMMER HOLIDAY FAMILY WOMBLING

If any families are wanting to get involved over the holidays, did you know equipment can be borrowed from the library?    Also, two Wednesday Wombles you can get involved with are on ...   Wednesday 14th August Brackley Town Park 10-2 Help litter pick during the Teddy Bear Festival    Wednesday 28th August Brackley Town Park 11-3 Help litter pick during the SYNE event   Plus as well as our Saturday Community Womble on Saturday 10th August, we have been asked if we'll lend a hand at the Classic cars event on Sunday 18th August. The event is between 11 and 4.   We'd love to see some mini Womble action during the school holidays, especially if you have joined in with a beach litter pick while you've been away!!!
